Overview

SoleSafe is the first sneaker insurance product for sneakerheads, developed by sneakerheads.

By focusing on authenticating and appraising a user’s sneakers, the product will be valued at the re-sale value not just the retail purchase price.

Problem

SoleSafe is seeking a cohesive system of strategic engagement touchpoints to interact with early adopters to the web platform.

Lessons Learned

Sneaker culture is already a massive industry and subculture on the verge of further growth. The lines of art, fashion, and design are being blurred while the value of cult collectibles continues to grow. SoleSafe is in a great position to offer a service that is brand new but very practical.

Working through the project it was apparent that these valuable assets are in need of protection. When taking into consideration the proposed solutions, SoleSafe will find a strong strategy to help push its product to market. The project provided an invaluable lesson in teamwork and the power of group thinking. It will be exciting to see where SoleSafe goes in the future and which new sneaker will reign supreme as the most coveted sneaker.
